Sullivan Brother's Crabapple

The five Sullivan Brothers from Waterloo, Iowa, died on the same ship during a World War II battle. After their deaths the military made it illegal for close relatives to serve in the same division in order to stop this from happening again. Five crabapple trees were planted in their honor on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol.
