Texas Champion Cedar Elm

Everything that is big is celebrated in Texas . The Texas Forest Service seeks to recognize the largest of each species of trees in the state through the Big Tree Registry, and this cedar elm has held that title since 2003. The tree grows in Kendall County and has a circumference of 131 inches, a height of 73 feet and a crown spread of 72 feet.
